Citation policy
Sources we consult when creating articles
When explaining the background and cooking methods of dishes from each country, Sekai Gohan checks overseas primary sources, local recipes, food-safety agencies and publicly available materials on food culture.
Reference links are included to confirm the basis for the article text, such as the origin of a dish’s name, how it is eaten in the region, how ingredients are handled, food safety, and decisions on substitute ingredients.
Recommended format when quoting
When quoting or referencing a Sekai Gohan article, please state the site name, the article title, the URL and the date you accessed it.
Source: Sekai Gohan (世界ごはん紀行), “Article title”
URL: https://sekaigohan.com/recipes/...
Accessed: Month D, YYYY
Scope of referencing and reproduction
Short quotations and links to our articles are welcome. Please avoid reproducing large parts of an article, recipe steps, images, tables or product comparisons as they are.
When you draw on our approach to a recipe or our ingredient substitutes, please also include the URL of the relevant Sekai Gohan article as the source.
Requests for corrections
If there is an error in the name of a dish, its cultural background, food safety or a source link, please contact us through the contact page, including the URL of the article concerned and your supporting evidence. We will correct whatever we are able to confirm.
